Durak Tekstil is committed to protecting the natural environment while producing high-quality products and services, guided by a strong sense of responsibility towards society.
To achieve this goal, we commit to:
- Complying with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, and fulfilling the responsibilities they require,
- Minimizing the environmental impact of our products and all production processes,
- Using underground resources responsibly,
- Ensuring that wastewater is treated before being discharged into the municipal sewage system,
- Applying the zero-waste hierarchy for non-hazardous waste — prevent, reduce, reuse, recycle, and dispose — and providing zero-waste awareness training to employees,
- Ensuring that hazardous waste is sent to licensed recycling and disposal companies,
- Monitoring and evaluating chemicals in accordance with restricted substance lists,
- Raising employee awareness of environmental issues through regular training,
- Continuously improving our environmental performance by reducing the use of natural resources and transitioning to renewable energy sources,
- Periodically reviewing our environmental goals and objectives and ensuring the availability of necessary resources — such as knowledge, expertise, and financial means — to achieve them.
- Communicating and making our Environmental Policy available to employees, customers, suppliers, and all relevant stakeholders.
